Data deletion
Effective 9 October 2026.
You can remove Contark's access to your social media accounts and delete your data at any time. Here is how, and what happens next.
Disconnect an account in Contark
- Sign in at contark.com/login.
- Open Settings, then Integrations, and pick the project.
- Choose Disconnect next to the account and confirm.
We revoke Contark's access at the platform where the platform supports it and delete the access tokens at once. Posts, metrics and comments fetched from that account are deleted within 30 days.
Remove Contark from the platform itself
- Facebook: Settings & privacy, Settings, Business integrations (or Apps and websites), select Contark, Remove. Tick the option to delete posts and activity Contark made on Facebook if you want those removed too.
- Instagram: Settings, Website permissions (Apps and websites), Active, select Contark, Remove.
- Threads: Settings, Account, Website permissions, select Contark, Remove.
- Google and YouTube: Google account, Third-party connections, select Contark, Delete all connections.
- X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and others: in the platform's settings for connected or authorized apps, remove Contark.
When you remove Contark from Facebook, Instagram or Threads, Meta notifies us automatically. We delete the related
connections and tokens and give Meta a confirmation code. You can check the status of that request at
contark.com/data-deletion/status/<code>.
Delete your Contark account
Email rk@coldabry.com from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We confirm by email and delete your account, its tokens and its content within 30 days. Backups are fully overwritten within 90 days. If you are a member of an organization, content that belongs to that organization stays with it; your personal account data is deleted.
